Is anyone else tired of adulting? I swear sometimes adulthood is just bottom tier and I find myself wanting to be a kid again LOL. The good old days of having no responsibilites except figuring out which book I’m going to read and playing with my Barbies. But we were so in a hurry to be adults and now look at us all with egg on our faces lol.

I typically love doing life admin tasks but this week I wanted to throw a tantrum because I was over it all lol. I’m constantly asking my husband “can we move to the country side?”. I am truly over living in the city. I want us to pack all our things, buy a little farmhouse and some land and get the heck on out of here. The older I get, the more this dream intensifies. I love Toronto and love the perks that come with living in an urban city; however, the past few years it has become something I can’t quite describe as yet but I don’t like it.

Anywho that was my mini rant of the week.

💭 A Thought I Keep Coming Back To

It’s okay to be okay. This one is personal for me, after all the trauma and loss of my daughters I experienced in the past two years. My body is still holding on to that trauma and loss and I’m retraining it again to know that it is perfectly okay to be okay and we are not in danger.

Sticking to what works. No overcomplicating my routine, just consistency. My skin has been responding well to that, and it’s a reminder that sometimes less really is more.

My very minimal skincare products. My facewash and sunscreen are missing. I’ll soon do a skincare routine video.

📖 Faith Corner

Matthew 6:25-26 is the verse of the week. It’s such a great reminder that we need not worry about anything because our Father in heaven has us covered. He is Jehovah Jireh, our faithful provider.

📝 A Truth I’m Learning

Not everyone is going to like you and that’s okay. More often than not people project their insecurities onto others. So, if someone doesn’t like you, that not your business but theirs.

🌍 Something I’m Enjoying

Looney Tunes! I’m a 90s baby and watching Bugs Bunny and the gang was one of my favourite things to do as a child. Thankfully, I still love to indulge and watch it everyday. I will forever love the old version; however, the new version is quite funny as well. They upgraded Bugs from the hole to a mansion and I’m here for it lol.
